In October 2011 Pop Up Playground was invited to co-host two playdays at the National Gallery of Victoria with Freeplay and Coney as part of Freeplay’s month long residency in the NGV Studio. Pop Up Playground presented a range of pervasive and social games from international companies and collectives including Lemon Jousting (Coney, UK),Checkpoint (Andy T Field, UK), Grandmother of Launceston (Seek Launceston, Tas) and Humanagrams (Obscure Games, USA) as well as Noodle Knights and Midnight in the City (both developed by Pop Up Playground).

We also made a could of movies about the experience, feel free to check them out!
