Preprint and Haikubomber join forces in a guerrilla act of kindness delivering take home street poetry left in city openings and public spaces. This guerrilla poetry event will take place around the Melbourne city to St Kilda area on the 17th of November, as part of This is a Door festival 2013.
This is a video of the poets preparing for the event.

As part of the State Library of Victoria’s Carnival of Curiosity in July, 2013, we presented The Focal Point, a story telling game for all ages in which players help trapped echoes of the library deliver lost messages between each other across the decades.
You can watch it here.
We’d like to thank the ever lovely Elliot Summers, who came along and filmed it for us.
During This Is A Door in 2012, film maker James Tresise interviewed Robert and Sayraphim about their work, what Pop Up Playground is doing and why it’s important.

Hey hey hey! We’ve just uploaded our documentary, New Games: Play in the UK. It’s got stacks of interviews and footage of games being played over in the UK… Check it out here
Last year, Robert and Sayraphim went over to the UK to make a documentary investigating companies over there who make games and playful situations.
We’re launching this documentary, New Games – Play in the UK, on the Big Screen at Federation Square, on the 29th of January at 7pm. It runs approx. 40 mins.
New Games features interviews with Holly Gramazio from Hide and Seek, Gwyn Morfey from Fire Hazard, Vee Uye and Andrew Crofts from Larkin’ About, Kars Alfrink and Tim Bosje from Hubbub, Grant Howett from Zombie LARP, James Wheale from Slingshot, Rosie Fairchild from Splash and Ripple, Tom Bowtell and Annette Mees from Coney, Matt Johnson from Haberdashery Collective, Matthew Robbins and Viviane Schwarz.
It’s a free event, so come down to Fed Square and grab a front row deck chair for the screening!
Our Fresh Air Festival (8, 9, and 10 February at Federation Square) now has a brand new trailer!
Check it out for some idea of the craziness in store.
